The pavilion is situated on the Lloydplein along the river Y in Amsterdam.  It is a freestanding object framed on three sides by several large complexes. It has spacious views towards the harbour on the north side. The building is designed as two interwoven volumes: on the ground floor a space for the catering industry, and on the first floor an office space. The two patios on the first floor and the stairwell diversify the volume and refine the shape. The total complex of dark stained stone with frames of zinc forms a distinct sculpture on the square, with a framed window on the head of the volume guarantying a spectacular view toward the river.
